The Story Behind Jarvis Honey

Jarvis Honey is the brainchild of Lewis Jarvis, a dedicated beekeeper based in Didcot, Oxfordshire. What began as a personal passion quickly became a mission to produce exceptional-quality honey and beeswax products, while prioritising the health and welfare of honey bees.

Starting with just a handful of hives, Lewis immersed himself in sustainable beekeeping practices—studying bee behaviour, hive health, and forage sources to refine flavour and quality. Through hands-on experience, workshops, and collaboration with other beekeepers, Jarvis Honey has grown into a trusted local producer.

Today, every jar reflects care, patience, and respect for nature, offering customers pure, locally sourced honey with genuine provenance.

Care, Quality & Sustainable Beekeeping

At the heart of our beekeeping operation is a commitment to responsible, sustainable, and ethical beekeeping. We firmly believe that healthy, well-cared-for bees are essential to producing the highest-quality honey and queen bees.

Every decision we make is guided by the welfare of our bees, ensuring not only strong and productive colonies but also excellent value for money for our customers.

Beyond production, we are passionate about education and community involvement. Through workshops, resources, and outreach, we actively share our knowledge and promote a deeper understanding of the essential role bees play in pollination, biodiversity, and food security.
